Huang Cheng Ye Yun 2009 is over.
To all of us who have put in all our hearts and souls these 3 months for tonight's great performance, i want to say Congrats and a big Thank you . Thank you for showing me what 100 plus people working hard together for a common goal feels like. Thank you for showing me what passion can achieve. Thank you for believing enough in me to let me lead the most adorable bunch of people in makeup. Thank you for that wonderful xie mu last night. the one that made chen si and i cry like no body's business. Thank you for these 2 yrs of wonderful experience. Thank you for the amazing friends i've made, whether or not i've worked with them directly.Thank you to the amazing bunch of actors,directors and SM of {影). Thank you VT.I LOVE HUANG CHENG and will never forget this wonderful experience. to all friends made on this journey, do not lose contact!!=DD

to Phong: even though you dont understand chinese, you joined us on this journey. Thank you for your patence and tolerance in sitting through all those runs, briefings, scolding, and 谢幕 even though you dont know most of what we are saying. you're such a cute girl, i will never forget you, and how you brought so much joy and experience to the makeup team.

to Jia ler-er: i remembered how when i first met you i was gossiping to someone about some one else. then you said i dont like to gossip. and i was like ookkayyyyy......but you still brought us a lot of laughter cos everytime we gossip and you bend forward to join our conversations we would purposely stop talking and say "jia ler dont come here. we gossiping" hahahaha. i'll miss all your wackeness and retardedness. especially when the makeup team tied two ponytails on sat!=D i love you!!

i dont understand why "its normal" for guys to solve problems by fighting it out. how is shouting " FUCK YOU", standing and staring at each other, grabbing each other's collar, and then fighting and struggling until even when a not-so-young teacher stood in the midst of the fight the fire in their eyes did not reduce, ( by two nice guys ) "normal". i hate myself because my stupid butt was just stuck to the ground and i didnt try to stop the "fight" happening before my very eyes. i hate myself more because even half-way through their "discussion" i saw something like that coming.as he clenched and unclenched his fist.YET i couldnt do anything. or could i? good god, let me forget this fight soon. let me forget that a very nice guy was involved in it. let every word exchanged not be imprinted into my mind like a broken recorder playing the same "track" over and over again like it is doing now. take away every one's harmful stress so this year's hard work would not go to waste. help everyone to control their emotions such that even at the point of outburst, violence is not an option.

BEN AND JERRY'S FREE CONE DAY!

hitched a ride from joelyn's dad to novena square. she was going to meet her sec sch fren and i was meeting rondie!=D

we only managed to get two cones cos i had to go back to sch for full run but oh wells, im glad i got my cone=) also i saw alot of familiar faces! the HC cross country team(audrey), then ally and her SA council mates, miss elaine(make up teacher), charmaine, chia pei etc etc. =DD

thats why we all love free cone day. not only do you get to eat free yumyum ice cream thats cost ard 5 bucks usually, you get to meet up with lots of old friends=)

cant wait for next yr's free cone day!!=D heehee

my J1s wanted to act damn pissed cos i didnt bring ice cream back for them and they discussed how to "act pissed" outside the cca room for damn long( i already guessed they were plotting something). phong came in first with a really constipated expression, then wan chu was trying so hard to keep a "angry" face but suppressing the little giggles that were uncontollably let out such that her face was damn red. i just kept laughing. they all gave up after only like what, 2 mins? and started laughing like mad. god, they are funny.=D

got three ECs in my school now. YAY got motivation to wake up in the morning=DD

was supposed to have STJ today, but cos the whole day we had Huang Cheng full run, was damn tired when it ended so didnt go. hope they(6n and 7n) had fun!=D

Huang cheng run was damn fun today, mostly cos of the J1s in my ju.=D have i mentioned how much i love them? Jia le, jia ler, wan chu, luo hui, cynthia and phong. its like we have this special chemistry and we all just CLICK. thank god for them. just when i thought after OCIP SH it was impossible to find another grp that clicked so well, i did.=D jia you for Huang Cheng 2009! only 5 more days! you guys are the best! and to all my friends who bought tickets, thank you very much. we'll do our best!=D

Good Friday today=) Sang worship songs and really felt the peace and joy of living my life through God. reflected on how much thanksgiving i have to make. thank God for my amazing friends(old and new), for my wonderful family, for blessing me and my loved ones with a healthy body and mind, for my house, my bed, my FOOD, for meeting great teachers like mr James etc etc etc. most importantly, thank god for dying on the cross for our sins.

these few days have been really fun!

on mon, vera and i were excused officially at 11am to go down to VJ to sell Huang Cheng(chinese drama) tickets.

Initially i was already pretty darn excited cos i was going to meet all my KC dearies, BUT then aud warned us that most VJ ppl dislike HC ppl in general, so the 2 of us were ready to get pots and pans for defence.

we even said our prayers before entering the sch ><

turned out that it was not as bad as we imagined it to be.
other than the weird stares as we walked in and when we were mending the booth. met bell when i walked into the canteen and screamed SO loud. then weiwei,gen,vic etc and all got same reaction. god i really missed them so much! how lucky to have so many close KC friends in one sch together!

two guys in particular left a very good impression. ben tan and his friend. at first we approached them like how we approached everyone else and introduced huang cheng to them. they were clearly not the chinese ppl. after much persuation they left their contacts with us and like everyone else, promised to come back. after very very long, we were sure no one except Kc peeps were going to buy our tics BUT BUT ben tan and friend came back to buy from us. we were SO touched!!=D=D

then then we met smokey eye guy who look like he walked out of twilight. ahhahha abit exaggerating but vera agreed that he's HOT.i shall not put his name here but gen knows him and he was in sam's class. obvious enough right? if he come to HC, M______ can kao pian zan already..hahaha

today we went to tpjc. i know a couple of KC girls went to TPJ but i didnt expect to meet SO many. and some VS ppl whom i went to China trip 3 yrs ago with. cant believe how fast time flies! vera and i approached these 3 guys sitting near our booth. while we were talking half-way i looked carefully at one of the gys and realized that he looks rlly familiar and asked a stupid qs :" Are you from VS?" he was like " yes YUENYING! no wonder u looked so familiar!!!" ahaha so paiseh. he even rmbered my name. it was great talking to him. like old friends. gossiping non-stop. china trip peeps shd rlly meet up one day!!=DD

actually this whole going round diff jCs to sell tics is rlly cool. get to explore the insides of diff schs and meet up with lots of old friends!=)
