new year, new hopes, new people!=D
Happy 2009 everyone.
may u guys meet lots of ppl you like this year, and hopefully not those you dont.

i counted down 2008 to 2009 with OCIP SH friends. words cannot express how happy i am to have met these people. i mean, come on,other than the amazing trip, i celebrated my 17th with them, countdown to christmas and slept at marianne's house, and countdown to new year and slept at ehui's house with them. all the 3 most important events of a year with the same group of them. i love them to bits and pieces!

31st dec

today we were supposed to have our highly-anticipated k-box session. we were discusing abt it since the k session in shanghai.but then there were still a couple of ppl not in town, and many felt that its too ex so they passed. in the end, me, linus, sheena and ehui went. ( marianne m.i.a last min><) we had quite alot of fun though, the four of us. just that the three girls( okay fine, mostly me=p) kept choosing Female singers, then linus came in, saw the list of songs we chose and was like "okay, i go watch movie first then come back" HAHAHAHA.

the service at cine kbox is so freaking slow. we ordered our first round of drinks, then towards the end, after calling the hotline several times then they came.. that means we had to finish our second round of drinks within minutes. haha linus had 2 cups of milo=D

we knew that we were supposed to stop singing because the host of the new year party was with us, and obviously she had to be home before all the other PARTYcipants arrive, but then we were waiting for our drinks and because we would feel bad if we left without finishing all the songs on our list so the last few songs we sang abit, then cut,abit then cut. HAHA..

oh, linus competed with me wu ding( both girl and guy part) and he won cos my guy sounds like girl haha..kk joined us during the last ten mins and sang two songs. haha.. the total bill was suoer ex, 139 i think. we decided to make those who fly kite pay. HAHA

when we left kbox, hwa pheng reached ehui's house already. haha so funny! see, being punctual, or even worse, early, for ocip outings is BAD.=D we took a train to kovan mrt and we joined with sx, william, marianne, wilson, erwin, shan rui and yaze. then we walked to this nearby coffee shop and supermarket for party food!we bought chicken rice for everyone haha, and then shopped for some bbq food like sotong ball, sausages and mashmallows! haha sx very funny, go buy mashmallows coated with choc, cannot bbq..but it was yummy, we ate for supper later=D.

we reached ehui's house and then we set up all the tables and chairs at the bball court down stairs. after chicken rice, we all started playing. some played bball, some played the swing, some played cards.. i played with this little boy who came downstairs to watch us, they say i got withdrawal syndrome. haha. i played frisbee with him but most of the time i am running in random directions to retrieve the frisbee=) but the boy's smile is everything=)xyy and mr quek joined us here.

we bbqed and the balls( kk dont think wrong) and sausages all look gross and inedible. haha. hp say its cos i cooked them=( lol then wilson, me, ehui and sx started a new table for texas poker. the game is darn cool, but i never won money once>< sx keep winning cos he keep cheating! i mean, the game requires one to cheat sometimes but then not my fault i always so truth-ful looking, its super obvious when i cheat( aka no poker-face) =p

when it was close to 12pm everyone started sending new year msges, then i damn sad my sending failed all the way until 12.30 or something=( sorry all the peeps who dint receieve, i really wanted to send! the last person i talked to in 2008 was sheena, the last person i looked at was mr quek( yea, i dint look at her). the first person i talked to this yr was sheena i think and the first person i looked for was _____=D

sx and linus jumped into the pool after 12pm and then many folloed. actually everyone except me, hp and sheena. we nv bring undies lah, somemore we slping over. quite gross right? haha but we rlly wanted to! even mr quek got caried into the pool. it was hilarous.then the guard came and chase us so we had to pack up. haha=D

the rest of us went up to ehui's house. we went to the balcony and chatted. then some of them played texas and i joined in. i won once! new year luck. after a few hours, xyy, mr quek and sx went home. haha then me and zi jing got tired after some fb-ing so we went to the balcony with sleeping bags, teddy and aeroplane blanket and slept for the whole day until 9 plus. damn shuang. other than hearing linus's voice many times, mahjong sounds..=p

after we woke, me and zijing went to shoot some hoops downstairs, super fun, but very hot! haha, we came up then those non-mahjong ppl went to macs and coffee shop to buy breakfast for all.after that, we watched mean girls on tv for a while, quite funny. then erwin ask us to watch borat instead. we watched and omgosh i almost pee-ed in my pants. damn funny! but then half-way some ppl wanted to go off, so we all left. we walked and saw this factory outlet and deciede to go in and check it out. but wasnt alot of stuffs. hahah then we walked to kovan mrt and erwin, marianne left. the rest wanted to go ps to play archade so we went to dhoby ghaut mrt. sx joined us too..so sx, me, ehui, and zi jing went to ps archade. we played 3 rounds on the bball machine and we didnt go to level 3 at all. omg>< it always got worse. haha but still fun! then we joined ehui at the finger game. each person took 4 boxes. haha very fun! we attempted and cleared the super fast can-can song somemore haha. then we played the soccer game. sx and i one team, ehui and zi jing the other. i asked sx to take the goalkeeper stick but he say something like" my whole life i goalkeeper already, now i dont want" haha super funny. so we each took 2 sticks. and we were thrashing ehui's team cos of sx. and then he ask me to thrash them with the last ball, cos i haven kick the ball yet=p so i got ready and i accidentally kick the ball into their goal. omg>< haha i feel bad. then we went to play racing game. sx, zijing and i supposed to race but i put in my coin early and in the end i race with myself. haha they rank me D lah wth. not true at all.. then we went to play with ehui some music key thing. i watched a few ppl play the gun shooting game. damn enjoyable to watch them. their expression so intense, like as if rlly at war=p in the end, we decided to race one more time. i player1, ehui player 2, zj player 3 and sx player 4. after intense competition( only bet player 1 and 4 quite intense), i won 1st! haha sx2nd, zijing 3rd, ehui 4th. then sx very bu shuang cos i won like by 1 sec. before we finished both our cars flipped, but mine landed 1sec before his. haha see, girls can drive better also lor. haha=D

then we went to the kopitiam for desert. zijing ate corn ice and ehui ate waffle and sx and i shared an icekachang that was super COLD. i mean duh but yea, it was especially cold. we chatted abit abt some ppl then we went home=)

at home we watched xing guang 3.last nights performance was overcoming boundaries but it wasnt very good though li chu ning got 25 marks.

anyway, this was new year celeb 2008.

thank you all who has contibuted to making my 2008 one of the most exciting, memorable, interesting and happiest years of my life. i wish 2009 will be an equally memorable one for everyone. i wish for good health and happiness to everyone in the world. i wish for world peace and for medical breakthroughs and for more people to accept god's love.
